Adam Pase

Co-Founder & General Partner

As a serial entrepreneur and co-founder of Gemini Ventures, I put my experience and network to work by enabling our founders and portfolio companies to move faster and scale more ambitiously. I’ve started and led multiple ventures across the public and private sectors, including Notarize and the largest Congressional Member Organization on Capitol Hill. Through these experiences, I employed hundreds of people on high performing teams, raised over $300m in capital from top tier investors, built long-term partnerships with leading global brands, and created more than $1b in equity value while transforming how people experience many of life’s most important moments - such as buying or selling a home.

In my role, I drive the strategic vision for the Studio and work alongside world-class founders to navigate the complexity of going from zero to scale; providing them with the capital, team, and partnerships to create unfair advantage.

Jake Ramey

Principal & Business Operations

I manage our internal operations and work in lockstep with the rest of our amazing studio team to guide ventures on their journey from inception to scale. Prior to becoming the first hire at Gemini, I spent close to a decade in senior operating and go-to-market roles at hyper-growth technology companies in San Francisco, London, and Boston - most notably at Mixpanel and Notarize which both grew exponentially during my tenure and have achieved unicorn status. I love to balance rapid scaling with thoughtful operationalizing and am lucky to be in a position to do both at Gemini.

Myles Lane

Head of Finance

As the Head of Finance at Gemini, I work with our companies to create enduring strengths in areas where early stage companies often have weaknesses. My main focus areas are primarily in accounting, finance, and Human Resources.  My tours of duty at successful companies like Notarize and EverTrue have taught me how to build processes and infrastructure allowing companies to grow without running into common scaling hiccups.

Helping early stage companies through audit, fundraising/debt diligence, RFPs, and other back office tasks allows our founders and teams to focus on their areas of highest and best use. I pride myself on being someone who can provide timely and accurate data to help guide teams to their best path.

Before Gemini, I’ve spent four years at Google where I helped the News team create design vision and launch products used by millions of users and thousands of publishers. In addition to designing at scale, I’ve had a chance to be an early employee at a few high-growth Boston startups such as Catalant and Lola, where I collaborated closely with founders to design, prototype, and iterate on digital product experiences that users love.

My focus is not only to make sure the team is a well oiled engine in mastering and executing this transformation process, but also to function as the best partner a founder can ask for.

Prior to Gemini, I have helped many Fortune 500 companies (such as Coca Cola and Fidelity) to future proof their teams and businesses through strategic innovation projects using design-thinking and rapid experimentation approach. Additionally, I have been part of the vibrant startup scene in Boston and have emerged as a design leader and team builder at multiple high growth technology startups such as Catalant and Ecovent.
